I just realized in Waves Central, that the complete W15 plugins are installed. And it seems the bundles are listed separately. I need to get rid of anything I don’t use.
Also there are most likely more Waveshells installed than I need.
To do it by hand would require days. I would love to see a tool, that simply uninstalls everything not needed…
Waves Central has a “clean up everything” button hidden under “Settings” in one of the options screens (I don’t have it on this PC or I’d get you a screenshot). I use it when things break down and need a reset.
I still seem to have a number of v14 shells installed and I’m not sure why, but they don’t do anything (no plugins).
Yes, it’s not quite only removing things you don’t need. It’ll remove everything. But it’s much safer to remove it all and only install what you need - the chances of things left behind being broken is really high (not Waves fault, as such, just the reality of componentised software these days).
