Waves plugins not working in any DAW

Hi,

I’v been using my Waves plugins in Pro Tools and Logic and everything worked fine.
But after deleting all Waves plugins and reinstalling it, Waves plugins don’t work in any DAW listed above.

In Pro tools, all the Waves plugins greyed out, and it says “The following plugins were made inactive because they do not support the current sample rate.”. All Waves plugins support 48kHz, and the sample rate of my Pro tools session is the same.
When I launched Logic, the message saying “Incompatible Audio Units found.” promted. In Plugin Manager, it says “couldn’t be opened” under compatibility of Waves plugins.

  1. The plugin software is correctly installed in Macintosh HD > Applications > Waves > Plug-Ins V12.
  2. I rescanned for Plugins in both Pro Tools and Logic.
  3. I uninstalled Pro Tools and Waves, and reinstalled it.

Specs:
MacOS 10.15.7
Pro Tools 20.12.0.190
Logic Pro 10.6.1
Waves Plugins V12,11

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi @soo9 welcome to the Waves Forum

As it sounds like extensive troubleshooting steps were made, I suggest reaching out to our Tech Support team to advise further.

I had the same problem. Working one day then the next I get a message “The following plugins were made inactive because they do not support the current sample rate.” I finally figured out that somehow my licenses were transferred to my old computer. I didn’t do it, it just somehow happened. I transferred all the licenses back to my current computer and everything worked fine.

Thats a bit of an odd bug, at least you managed to get it sorted though.

So perhaps it might be worth transferring the licenses back to the cloud then reinstalling them?!? Worth a go at least.
