Superrack Performer - Buffer Size Automatically Changing

Anyone know why Performer would automatically change buffer size from 128 - 256? It happens when I am adding plugins. When that happens, I lose signal to my audio mixer ( Mackie DL16s ) and have to re start my mixer. I have a mac mini M2. My CPU usage is low, I would say 25-30%

Thanks

I’m going through the same thing. I want to know how to solve the problem

Hey @hasalsng2,

Welcome to the Waves Forum.

Our support team will be reaching out via email to look into this further.

I went and bought a mac mini M4 pro and never had that happen again. It has to do with processing power and using high latency plugins.

At this point, wouldn’t it be great if you answered the question publicly in this forum? I am unable to read the emails that you’ve sent to other users with the same problem… kinda defeats the purpose of a forum, eh? Not trying to be rude, but seriously…

Hi @jason1,

Welcome to the Waves Forum, and thanks for the feedback.

We share solutions publicly whenever they can be applied generally. In this case, the cause can vary and requires Technical Support to review each user’s setup individually. Sharing troubleshooting steps from another user’s case could be inaccurate and lead others in the wrong direction.
