I thought also it was due to an external harddisc I attached but I don’t know. It happens now randomly and seems to be better since it is switched off. But honestly. Can’t we just have plugins that just are plugins without being tied into the last bit of some computers hardware setup? Or should I rather just uninstall this and look for some cracks instead?

Please Contact Technical Support and allow them to verify what’s causing the slow load.
I can’t speak for Waves but licensing systems are unfortunately a requirement. You can actually that pray for that. If it wasnt for all the selfishness and the theft of software none of us would have to put up with licensing issues as it wouldn’t be necessary.
Unfortunately, this is the state of the world we live in and because of the actions of a few the rest of us have to suffer.
