I am using Logic and just bought OVox.
I figured out everything in the picture , except from step 4 , second section; “To use OVox as a MIDI-Controlled audio plugin”.
Could someone please tell me if it’s even possible to route a midi track into an audio track like this in Logic ? If so , how??
Im fine using the other way around - with the vocal track sidechained into an instrument track with OVox on it, but it would be very nice to know anyways, and give me better sleep at night

Route Midi to an audio track in Logic?? Sadly nope. You would have to create an Instrument Channel strip, Insert Ovox as the Instrument plugin and route the audio via the sidechain.
Logic’s Midi-Controlled Effects implementation is really dated, going back 20 years or even further. It was great at the time, but something that really suffers in the modern DAW era.
The more people who contact Apple to get them to update this feature, the better. They will be more likely to do something about. So feel free to leave some feedback with them.
