I’m using a MAC, with M1 chip, with latest version of Logic Pro x. From my Waves plugin list I’m only seeing the regular version of the plugin, I don’t see the ARA version, that from all the instructions I’m reading, is required to work in a Logic Pro session. I have verified that I am opening up Logic in Rosetta mode, but still not seeing the ARA version.
Any help would be appreciated.
Logic needs to be run in Rosetta mode for it to be able to run any ARA versions of plugins.

Sad to say that there is no current support for ARA on M-Class Macs. Logic now uses a plugin server which would introduce new security exploit issues, so it seems that Logic - plugin ARA communication was one of the casualties when they locked things down.
We’re all living in the hope that support comes back some time soon, or at least a capable Apple alternative.
