Need Help with Waves SuperRack Performer Setup with Allen&Heath SQ6

I am new to setting up waves up waves with SQ6 and I would like to know what would be the best way to route the to and from my MacBook.

Currently I’m using Channel Inserts to send and receive audio from my MacBook but an Issue I’m facing with that is that the Insert send my Waves Fx to all my mixes. That’s an issue because I don’t want the Waves Fx to go to the Stage Wedges or IEMs. I just want the dry signal, Post Compressor to go to the Wedges and IEMs.

I roughly thought of the following routing [Local In → USB Out → MacBook → USB In → Local Out] but that still gives me only the wet signal not the dry signal I need for the the Wedges and IEMs. Additionally I though of duplicating each Local In (One channel strip {Source: Local In} with the dry signal, and on another channel strip {Source: USB In}) but that feels really inefficient and waste of Channel Strips.

I don’t have much experience with USB routing or Tie Lines but I’m open to learning about them if I need to.

So absolutely any help would be more than appreciated.

Hey @joshua.carol,

Welcome to the Waves Forum.

One of our Tech Support representatives will soon reach out via email to help you with setting everything up.

Feel free to share your experience and setup once done.

Why do you need send signals to wedges/items thru post-compressor point? In SQ v1.6.0 and earlier you can send all post peq and make a compressor on aux, I think its better than split everything up.
