MBox3+Soundgrid Server

Hi,

I’m not sure, if I’ve understood the setup of a Soundgrid network correctly: I would like to connect my Laptop with Win10 & Pro Tools 12.5 and a MBox3 by Ethernet to a Waves SG Extreme Server, to use the Plugins in Pro Tools in the Waves Studiorack (to save CPU Power). I use this server only with my laptop. Do I need any additional interface to do this?

Hi Chris,

Basically you are setting up your SoundGrid network without a Waves SoundGrid interface.
It is indeed possible via SG Connect. Please refer to this article on our website for more information.
