How do I describe this? I love the slap on Kramer tape and if there were a way you could use it on a bus like CLA Effects with the “Direct” button, that would be great.
That or share the exact settings to make H-Delay sound like the slap in Kramer Tape haha

There doesn’t appear to be a way to set the delay as a “wet” only effect, which is a real shame.
I can tell you though that on H-Delay Analog 3 & 4 settings are tape emulations, while 1 & 2 are loosely based on early classic analogue style delays. You might be a able to conjure up something similar sounding.
its very possible that either 3 or 4 may have been loosely based on the Kramer?!?

YES!
Was about to post a feature request of the same
I actually use Kramer as a go to on most analog synth stuff…I mucked around with the delay part only a little while ago despite owning it a long time and I actually REALLY love this…it is by for the best tape delay and I have a lot…the nearest is Helix Live native but its a real bother having to load up pretty much a whole host for 1 effect
Most of my delay love came from an italian Mirano tape in the early 80s…cool blue light was worth the price alone hehe.

The kramer delay is so close…so maybe I have emotive attachments to the sound (and korg mini 700)
I setup a mock delay version by using Studio rack and parallel split, Invert the phase on 2nd copy and adjust levels until you have mostly a null and then add the delay. I cant get a very good null though due to the W&F
BUT
Would be so simple for Waves to implement
Please add tempo sync to delay time and a fine tune
This deserver a lot of votes…
I too found this interesting as It’s such a unique sound.
Also, you should Create a new aux bus in your DAW.
Insert Kramer Tape on the bus.
Send your desired tracks to this bus.
Hope this will be helpful
Just a warning, if you do a null test, doing this will show that it doesnt work as an aux buss without mashing your sound…it causes a weird type of comb filtering which isnt pleasant. Thats why you have to null ie when used in the example that I showed.
I already asked for a wet/dry of th just the tape but worked out they would never do it because it seems a lot of work waves might not be interested
However creating a phase inverse to simply get the delay out should be quite simple
I have found stopping and starting the transport can often fix these kind of latency issues.
Although, in the case of KMT there might be this weird bug where it isn’t compensating for its latency correctly. I reported the issue a little while ago I just haven’t checked it lately to see if they’ve fixed it.
