AI-based sample recognition and tagging
Many samples do not include genre or style information in their filenames, which makes them difficult to find using tag-based search. AI-powered audio analysis and automatic tagging would significantly improve search accuracy. It would also be useful to have a wider set of tags and the ability to exclude tags (similar to Splice).
Global tempo and pitch preview
The ability to set a global tempo and pitch (for tonal samples) would allow users to audition samples already matched to the tempo and key of their current project.
Randomize search results
Adding a “Randomize” button would prevent the same samples from always appearing at the top of the search results when browsing within the same tag, encouraging discovery of less obvious sounds.
CR8 Sampler
Sample browsing within a folder
The ability to scroll or step through samples inside the same folder directly from CR8 would greatly speed up the sound-selection workflow.
Direct integration with Cosmos
A toggle or button to link CR8 directly would allow browsing and auditioning samples from within the sampler, without the need to constantly drag and drop samples with the mouse.
