Ovox’s midi out feature is really exciting for controlling VST instruments with a vocal input, but it would be a massive help to me if the midi out data also CC values.
If the mappable parameters “amplitude”, “formant” and “pitch” could be sent out of ovox as external midi CC messages, it would open up a whole new world of possibilities to control other instruments and effects via the IAC driver in Ableton, effectively turning vocal dynamics and formants into an expressive tool for controlling all other instruments in the mix. I’m super excited about the possibilities this feature would bring, so please consider adding these midi CC values to Ovox’s “Midi out” feature!
