Would it be possible to decrease the size of Waves Central?

So I know a lot of this is on my end but my SSD is completely full and I can’t remove anything else off. Why on earth does Waves Central constantly need 250 MB updates? I only have a handful of old plugins and I can’t even use them because when I try to open my DAW I get a waveshell error because they have to connect to your dumb app to even run. Which I wouldn’t care IF it didn’t absolutely require me to run the most up to date version. This is beyond frustrating at this point. I don’t know if it is possible but please I’m begging you for some kind of solution. I can’t afford new hardware right now and I don’t have this problem with literally any other companies plugins. Sorry for the rant but this really does ■■■■.

We did recently get a “don’t update right now” button on the loading screen (which I needed to use tonight - I barely had enough internet to refresh the licenses that got corrupted on my LV1C for some reason, and downloading the central update to do so would’ve taken over an hour!), but yeah, it does feel like there are a lot of updates that include the entire app.

Perhaps there’s a way for whatever install instructions are being frequently updated to just be part of the actual install process?

My guess is that Waves Central updates also updates the infrastructure. Such as the server that runs in the background, not just the app itself.

One possible way to cutback on storage is to periodically “Clear Central Cache” from within its settings. Another way is to only install the plugins you use by manually selecting them in the Install Products > All Products tab. It’s a pain to setup at first, but all future updates will remember your selection.
