We need more hardware modelling from Waves

Waves really needs to focus on both sides of the coin. Emulation is needed as well as the newest ideas. Some hardware units just got it right.

Most ‘working’ engineers I know, are still using emulations.

Waves needs to be a ‘one stop shop’ for plugins and stop the need for users wanting for a different subscription. Cover all bases.

We really need updated 1176, LA3A , 2254
And I’ve been waiting for a Red3, 33609, distresssor for years now.

I’m worried waves are listening to people who aren’t in the trenches everyday.

Yeah I agree. I’m not so interested in yet another emulation of a popular device, but emulations that not many have done. Red-3, a Focusrite channel strip or the rare Neve 1057 germanium preamp/eq would probably be a good example of that.

I see emulation a way of preserving rare pieces of classic hardware for future posterity before they become extinct
