Waves hardware emulations more needed

We really need more hardware modelling from Waves. And updated versions 1176,2254, LA3A etc

If Waves is wondering what to do, hardware modelling vs new ideas, the truth is that we need both. I really don’t want to have to pay any subscriptions other than waves. I don’t want to turn to Universal Audio for modelling plugins. We need Waves to be a one stop shop, no other subscriptions needed. That’s how you get more customers Waves, if you’re reading. Cover all the bases. I feel like you’ve dropped the ball

I agree, best of both worlds. I’ve been wanting them to do a Motown collection for possibly 8-10 years. I’ve periodically requested it but they didn’t bite. Now I think UAD got there first about a year or two ago.

There’s plenty of other things they could do, it doesn’t have to be that. I specifically like it when they choose useful pieces of hardware from the past that no-one has modelled, or almost no-one. I see it a way of preserving a rare, old piece of equipment for future posterity before they fade from existence.

Wouldn’t mind seeing their NLS tech turn up in actual channel strips too, and maybe they could model some other desks like a Focusrite or a Harrison. True, someone else has done them, but only one other dev to my knowledge.
