Waves Harmony provides a great way to create harmonies, and even has the ability to set the key/scale.
One critical aspect of creating high quality harmonies is to ensure that the voices are in perfect tune. A standard equal temperament doesn’t really do this - harmonies in choirs and non-fretted instruments are “perfect” in that they are relative to the actual cord being played. My request is that the program be extended to enable
- setting of an initial temperament for the piece
- the ability to send messages from another channel in the DAW to change the temperament while the harmony is being created, so that we can get it right.
- the ability to associate temperament changes to presets, so that we can switch between them using the marker controls.
