Waves Central stuck at "Logging in..."

Does anyone else have this issue at the moment? My Waves Central is stuck at “Logging in…” — it just hangs indefinitely. This is after completing the browser login.

I tried two different browsers (Chrome, Edge). I tried logging out and logging back in…

The way it hangs on “Logging in…” makes me think servers are down? It would be helpful to know if someone else is having this issue. (This is 7:06 AM Thursday, September 4, 2025)

I don’t have any weird Proxy settings or any antivirus stuff loaded. I even disabled Windows Firewall. This comes after a complete uninstallation and “Complete Waves Cleanup.”

I can’t even do the offline install because it hangs at the login for Waves Central.

I’m completely down and unable to work without my Waves plugins. :open_mouth:

me too, just downloaded the latest Waves Central dated 2nd Sept and the same is happening to me

Only Safari installed

It’s the same here…I try reinstall the app and do all the things I could find online.

Thanks everyone, whew, I was worried it was an issue specific to my machine. Waves is aware of the issue and on top of it! I just noticed they added:

Important Notice:
Waves Central is currently experiencing intermittent login issues. Our team is actively working to restore full service and functionality.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.”

To the top of their support page. That was pretty fast, it wasn’t there when I first had the issue. So they should get it sorted out soon. Fingers crossed!

And… we’re back! That was fast!

Problems can happen with any software – what matters is how the company responds… And Waves has some of the best support I’ve ever dealt with. Thanks for getting this sorted out quickly!

It’s the same for me, and I find the situation annoying, especially since it affects the initialization of Cubase’s VST3 folder, which unfortunately doesn’t have a timer to reject plugins that take too long to receive authorization from their server to run.

It’s extremely annoying.

All sorted for me too

Like all things internet these things unfortunately tend to happen periodically. It could be the service, it could be the server, the latter in this case. The main thing is to remain patient and if you are still experiencing issues after a few hours… THEN panic. :scream::upside_down_face:
