I have quite a few plugins from Waves, and most of them have errors. This started recently and suddenly. When I open the SSL EV2 Channel Stereo plugin, a dialog box appears (attached in the screenshot). with an error. When I open Vocal Bender, for example, I don’t see any dialog boxes at all, just the standard FL Studio window that says: “There was a problem opening the plugin WaveShell1-VST3 16.0_x64 for an unknown reason”.
I’ll tell you right away what I did:
- I completely reinstalled all of Waves. (I uninstalled everything and installed it again. I also cleaned the registry editor).
- I uninstalled and reinstalled FL Studio.
- I tried older versions of Waves.
- After each of these actions, I restarted my PC and in the Manage Plug-ins tab, I checked the boxes next to “Verify Plugins”, “Rescan previously verifed plugins”, “Rescan plugins with errors”, and ran the plugin scan. (Also, after any scan, I restarted the PC and went to check, but the error didn’t disappear). I also added the main Waves folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Waves\Plug-Ins V16) to Manage Plugins and tried to scan it.
- I turned off all the antiviruses
By the way:
Waves version V16, the same plugins were downloaded, only version V15.
FL Studio 25, (I didn’t check on older versions, but it’s unlikely to make sense, I think it’s definitely not about the DAW).
