Vocal Rider does not work

Hi!

I am a Cakewalk by Bandlab user and also have Vocal Rider. I can’t get it to work. I click the W button in both Vocal Rider and the DAW, the line is written, I can read it, but the volume isn’t adjusted.

The line goes up when there is a loud part and goes down or does nothing when there is a soft part. However, it should go DOWN when a part is too loud and go up when a part is too soft.

How can I get it to work?

If you still need help with setting up Vocal Rider in your host application, please Contact Technical Support if you haven’t emailed them already.

They will be able to guide you easily based on your specific DAW.

After writing out the automation like that, you then have to, put Vocal Rider into Read mode. Possibly Cakewalk too.

Though, you don’t have to write out the automation like that. It’s helpful if you want to adjust things in a few spots, but leaving it set to respond automatically without automation is often the best way to use this plugin.
