StudioVerse Audio Effects Dry/Wet-Mix and Oversampling Options

Hi, the StudioVerse Audio Effects plugin would be much more useful if it had:

a) global and per plugin dry/wet-mix knobs (unless I am overlooking something that already exists)

b) it offered oversampling options per plugin (with separate values for playback and rendering)

Of course, the manufacturers could implement this in every plugin, nut, unfortunately, they don’t. So this would be a great addition to the feature set of StudioVerse Audio Effects (which would make me play for it).

Well it does rely on the plugin having its own Wet/Dry control, many do, most modern ones. Although you could set up a Parallel Split, run dry through one side and wet through the other and use the volume controls to blend the two.

Well, many have a dry/wet control, others don’t - even new ones (like, for example, many UAD native plugins). That’s why some other plugin chainers offer dry/wet control (and oversampling options). I generally like the workflow of StudioVerse Audio Effects, but the lack of these features makes me many times prefer others.

oversampling would be amazing.

I understand. Dry/Wet is a good option to have, I was just offering a possible workaround until they get around to adding it, HOPEFULLY

Yeah I request this myself a while back. I figured that plugins that don’t naturally have it could potentially benefit by building it into StudioRack as an option.

It does need to be an option as oversampling causes latency which is not good for live work or when you’re trying to record. It also causes more strain on the CPU and not everyone is in the best position to be able to host it.
