Plugin in bundle in demo mode

Hi there. I’ve managed to install only some plugins from a bundle, the Platinum bundle V14. Some plugin, though, are in demo mode, while some other are full functional.

I’m sure they are part of the bundle because if I click “Visit store page” for that bundle the plugins are in that page.

I’ve asked for support and had a solution for the first plugin but in that case the issue was that I had installed the V15 version, also, and by removing that it started to work properly.

For the other plugins (eg. “CLA Unplugged” and others) I’ve made sure that there’s no V15 version installed, and there isn’t, but they’re in demo mode nonetheless.

Of course the bundle is indeed “activated”. For the single plugins within the bundle there is not the flag on “Activated”, but it’s absent even in the ones that are fully functional, so I guess that’s not the point.

Notes:

  • I use Mac OS
  • in the directory “Plug-Ins V15” there is a “WavesLib1_15.5.79.framework” directory
  • in the directory “WaveShells V15” there are a bunch of files

Any idea about this?

Thanks a lot
Gianluca

Hey @mrgralich,

Welcome to the Waves Forum.

Please Contact our Technical Support team. After verifying your account license information, they will be able to resolve the issue quickly and provide exact steps to get you up and running.

Yes, I’ve done that some days ago and renewed a ticket yesterday, too. I thought I might have an answer from the community from someone who incurred in the same issue.

Ok, I’ll wait

It sounds like some leftover V15 components are still interfering, even if the main plugin were removed. Make sure to clean out all V15 folders and frameworks manually, then restart your Mac. After that, reinstall only the V14 versions using Waves Central. Also, double-check that your licenses are activated to your computer, not just stored in the cloud. That should get everything working properly. [:slightly_smiling_face:]
