How to install V16 plugins that are part of an existing V15 bundle?

I have the Horizon bundle in V15 but also CLA76 and some other plugins in V16 separately that are also part of my Horizon bundle.

How do I now install all of Horizon in V15 except the plugins I have separately in V16 like CLA76 and have these installed as well. I want to avoid double installations.

I mean I just want to install all of V15 Horizon except the plugins that I have separately in V16.

It’s a fresh install of Waves so there’s nothing installed yet.

Because from what I can see, I can’t select individual plugins for V15 but just complete products?

Hey @atticmike,

Please visit our " How to Install Waves Legacy Versions," which includes all previous versions, and also a very useful tutorial that will guide you through the process.

That’s not really helpful.

Can I simply select my Horizon V15 bundle and CLA 76 in V16 and Waves will automatically not install CLA76 V15 but the V16 one?

Or will it install both V15 and V16 for CLA76?

@atticmike, When you install a Waves Bundle, it will install all its plugins. What you can do is, once you have installed the V15 bundle, remove the single plugins you wish to install as V16 from the Waves folder under your applications folder, deleting the .bundle file with the plugin name will ensure it will not load up when you launch your DAW.

I do see you have reached out for support, who will soon follow up over email to provide you with step-by-step instructions and ensure your setup is compatible with both versions.

This method works as I have done it myself.
