I use a ton of plugins right in avid media composer and adobe premiere. My main tool is avid media composer, I know high level editors that for instance use the UM225/UM226 to up mix stereo music into surround mixes inside avid media composer. They work and work well, but official testing and support for use in NLE software would be amazing for video editors that do a lot of sound work in their work.
I agree. I also thing Davinci Resolve should also be officially supported.
Maybe they will get on to these, it may just be a matter of time.
