You can update your existing licenses to V16 as long as they are covered by the Waves Update Plan, which also gives you extra benefits:

Big cheers for the update! The corner stretch resizing is nice – it’s intuitive. The plugins now do what you’d hope they do, and some of the newer UIs look GREAT large!

Speaking of – I’m always happy to see more HiDPI updates. Please keep those coming.

The HiDPI updates caused me to discover VComp and the VEQs which I had somehow overlooked. The EQs are intuitive and the VComp has a unique vibe to it!

IR-Live is fantastic of course, so I’m happy to have it in glorious hidef. Heads up!! Be sure to install the 4.8gig Waves impulse library. It’s not included by default, and it’s half the value with the IR series!! A really good impulse library with a LOT of varied sounds to explore:

Anyhow, I’m happy with this new release and I look forward to see what comes in the interim updates. (TruePeak added to the full line of Waves Limiters perhaps? I’d LOVE that in L316 & L3LL!)

FINALLY!!! Full resisability!!!. 100% was often too small for my 5k monitor, yet 125% was too big. It turns out that around 115% does the job for most plugins. Not to big, not to small, juuuuust right.
