Installing my plugins in a 2nd pc

Hi,
I would like to use my waves plugins on my laptop when travelling and go back on my main pc when at home. I’ve already moved my licenses on a usb drive. On the laptop, do I have to install Waves Central, then download the demo versions of the plugins and activate them via the usb drive ? Or can I simply copy / paste the proper folders from the main pc to the laptop ?

I’ve never actually done this myself. I’m sure you just install Central on your second computer, re-download the plugins. That way you can be sure you don’t miss any obscured files that aren’t in the standard location.

From there though, it’s just a matter licensing. I’m “assuming” when you try to run things up it’s probably going to ask you for the location of your licenses, or it will scan for the drive automatically once it figures out they aren’t stored on the system.

Hopefully someone will correct me if I’m wrong. :thinking:
