Install L3-LL on LV1 Classic from the 2nd licence of L3-16

  1. question:
    L3-LL has been installed to my computer as part of L3-16 which is not Soundgrid compatible, but L3-LL is. How to install only Soundgrid compatible L3 plugins to LV1 Classic? I have a 2nd licence for L3-16 (bundle?) which I see in Central, but can’t se L3-LL or any other L3 which I can see and use in Logic and Finder. How to install L3-LL on LV1 Classic from the 2nd licence of L3-16?

  2. question:
    Can I somehow transfer stock plugins (Magma Tube Channel Strip for example) from LV1 to computer (iMac)?

  1. I assume that the reason why L3-LL is available and not L3-16 is because its Low Latency and suitable for using live. The L3-16 would cause to myuch latency for it to be of any use live.
  2. I believe you just run up Waves Central on your computer system and just install the plugin from the internet.

  1. yes, this is the reason, I know it. That’s why LV1 Classic doesn’t allow to install L3-16. But on computer I got L3-LL, L3-ultra, L3-multi… all with L3-16. So I’d like to use my L3-16 2nd licence to install L3-LL on my LV1 Classic. How to do it?

This is probably a question for tech support, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s tied to the actual LV1 license (which theoretically you can transfer to a PC, but I also wouldn’t be surprised if the Classic doesn’t allow deactivation).

So if it’s not a separate license, it may not be eligible for a second license. It’s just “part” of the console license (unlike, say, the Tracks Live 2 license we just got given, which is clearly not attached to the console, even though that’s why we were given it).
