Big problem - my DAW doesn't see the new plugins versions

So here is a major issue:

I just decided to update all of my Waves to ver 16. I used to have different versions of the Waves plugins on my computer so far.

To this point - no problem with Waves. Even very old projects firing up nicely, with newer versions of plugins starting up, even if the projects started their life with an older ones.

Now after the update - most of the Waves plugins don’t start with an error! The same thing happened with LABS before, when the location of the installation has changed.

How to deal with this???

I see that the compaibility is broken somehow!

Welcome to the Waves Forum.

The issue here is loading a non-supported Waves format plugin : VST.

Using Waves and Samplitude, only VST3 plugin components are supported. Even though VST might work, it will eventually cause issues as you report.
