Audio Filter missing: Clarity Vx (s)

I’m working on a project with a colleague whom sent me a Premiere Pro project file that contains assets with Clarity Vx applied. When I try to open the project file on my machine I get the error “Audio Filter missing: Clarity Vx (s)”. Thing is, I have Waves Clarity installed on my machine. I know it works since I can open and apply the effect in other projects, so it’s just this project file.

A little more detail: my colleague is on Mac (M1 or M2, I can’t recall), I am on Windows (win10). Both using Premiere Pro v25.1. I have reinstalled both Waves and Clarity, and rescanned for plug-in’s in PP. Any ideas?

Welcome to the Waves Forum.

It might be that the mentioned session was saved with an unsupported format version of the Clarity this might explain why it does not load by default.

What I can suggest if possible is to save the Clarity VX FX as a preset and load it in the session on your computer in a new instance of Clarity VX which you mentioned is loading fine this might save you some time.
