My old Sony MDR-7506 has almost had it.
I prefer closed back headphones as I don’t have a treated room.
What studio headphones that you own would you recommend that I get to use for the next 10-15 years?

I am happy mixing (or at least checking mix) with the Sennheiser HD800S. However, they are open back. I prefer that they can breathe a bit. In my opinion, it makes extended wearing much more comfortable. My room is treated, but far from perfect.
I got the BeyerDynamic DT 880 Pro, and I am pretty happy with my choice.
They are half open and very comfortable, as well I like the way they sound(for me).
However, I think it is more of a subjective thing, there is a lot of great gear out there…
The best way to go I think is to take a good reference of music that you know well, and go to music gear stores and test some headphones, until you will find something that sounds and feel good for you.
I hope it will help.
I bought the Austrian Audio HiX65 open headphones and they have been a revelation.
They’re not cheap, but I think they’re worth every penny.
