f i have waves 16 how can i clean up all the older versions
In Waves Central under Settings, there is an option to Organise your versions, and Clean Up old cache and installer files. If, however, you are wanting to remove older Waveshells then there isn’t really a function for that. However, I came up with a workaround that seems to work with a minimum of fuss….
-
Make sure your DAW or Central isn’t running
-
Delete ALL the WavesShells manually using Finder/Explorer
-
Open Central and run the Repair function in the Settings tab
It might take a little while, but it’s a simple method that will work. It’s probably the best we can hope for until Waves makes an official feature that can do it more efficiently.
