Has anyone else had this issue with there waves plugins in Final Cut Pro? I can load presets fine but I can’t actually use the plugins.

Glad to say that our new V12 plug-ins version is fully supported with the new Final Cut Pro X 10.4.9, and will not show such issues.
I suggest updating your plug-ins to the latest V12 version or rollback Final Cut to the previous version.
Note that licenses can be updated using the Waves Update Plan and your Waves account online.
