One problem that bothers me is whether my licensed version and the version of the app that can be used, the plug-in version must be the same. Another possibility is that a higher version of the license can normally use the lower version of the application and plug-in? What happens if the authorized version is different from the field server version?

Welcome to the Waves Forum.
If you are referring to the license version and the plugin installer version, the latest license version will allow using previous installers, i.e. If you own a V15 License and your system requires an older installer version to be compatible, you will be able to install the plugin in an older version if it is available within that installer version you require.
Alternatively, if you have a V14 Waves license and wish to install the latest installer version i.e. V15 you will be required, to update your license version to the latest one to allow the latest Waves installer version to be installed.
