Waves Harmony in Ableton with Midi from Midi Guitar 3

Newbie here. I’d like to get midi from my MidiGuitar3 to send midi notes to Waves harmony in Ableton to create active harmonies, but I just can’t seem to figure it out. Hoping someone can help.

Different DAWs have their different ways to achieve this.

Logic would require Midi Guitar 3 to be placed in the instrument slot of an Instrument Channel Strip and Waves Harmony to be placed in a second instrument strip. Then you would use Logic’s MIDI sidechain in the inspector on the left to pass the Midi info from MidiGuitar to Harmony.

Other DAWs have much simpler methods.
