Solution for anyone else:
I suggest giving Waves Central full disk permissions to make sure it has sufficient privileges to change and create files:
-
Go to C:\Program Files\Waves Central.
-
Right-click the Waves Central.exe and select Properties.
-
Under the Compatibility tab, select Run this program as an administrator.
-
Under the Security tab:
-
Click Edit
-
Under each Group or username, select the first group
-
Checkmark Allow to the Full Control option
-
Repeat for all Users and groups
-
Click Apply and then OK
-
Click OK to close the Properties window.
