Waves Central not working!!

Hi. I have bought several plugins and wanted to install them. When I connected to the internet, Waves Central updated itself, but when I tried to log in it says that I don’t have an internet connection, when I can perfectly browse the internet with any browser.

I have already sent a message to the company, but the websites don’t work well either, there are programming errors when choosing the reason why you are writing.

As I have seen in the forum this has also happened to other people at other times. I am new to Waves, I have bought several plugins for a year, and recently I have bought about 6 or 8 plugins, but these problems make me think. How easy it would be to download the plugin, install it and then activate it online. I don’t understand anything.

Central is usually pretty reliable. It does periodically go offline time to time for maintenance, but that happens to everyone running a server.

Hi, thanks for your post.

I’m using Waves Central around 6y on macOS intel core (now Apple Silicon M4) and it had always at some point especially with larger downloads this issue of displaying wrong download status numbers and illustrations.

I started out over the years with a more legacy/conservative version of Waves Central through which I got pretty much all my plugins up and running and from there onward updated with the current WC version.

But what is even more worse and unacceptable is WHEN THEY NOT EVEN FINISH but rather even keep “downloading” past the file size i.e. 20 GB downloaded / 12 GB total file size !!

In this case I tried already to download Waves Essential 4-5x SD & HD quality, restarting the app, but it just keeps “downloading” past the total file size 37.7 GB and fake percentage statements.

And for some reason the % stays stuck, stop progressing on a certain number (every time a different random number) no matter how long you download !

I also had this one day that the downloadad size was bigger than the total size. This drove me nuts (I just wanted to quickly install one new plugin …). Waves central cache cleanup did not help either.

I can’t remember for sure but I think i skipped downloading some content of a sample library (electric grand?), this fixed it for me then.

Well, it’s been two days since the app was updated, and I still can’t access it, it says I don’t have an internet connection. This is unforgivable!!
I still haven’t received a reply from Waves support to give me a solution.

At least you were able to access Wave Central, it tells me that I don’t have a network connection, when I can navigate with the browser.

Hi @p.pfranco,

One of our Tech Support reps will email you to follow up on the support case you created to assist further and solve the issue.

Yeah the mindset of focusing on 1 thing at a time on that regard, got me on the right track.
Greatly appreciated mate.

I didn’t know that this was available in the first place, but downloading the plugin bundle first (which is also much smaller in size compared to HD sample pack contents) in Waves Central was the solution.

Afterwards click on the link that says “visit store” or something and download each batch of content manually and individually. Store the sample content on the place recommended by Waves if possible. THEN it works.

Maybe Waves should let the people know at least from now on *and that’s a strong positive
lmao but seriously they should really LMK !
