I wish to install a Behringer Wing AOIP-WSG Internal Card and connect it directly to a MacMini (Intel) and use SoundGrid QRec (or another DAW) to record. Will this simple setup work? I am not planning to use (or host) plugins - just record channels. I have installed the SoundGrid QRec app but as there is (yet) no Waves device to connect to it won’t do much. Will there be a CoreAudio driver available to use with other DAWs or do I need to install that separately? I haven’t purchased the AOIP-WSG card yet, but will if advised that it will work as I need.
