Hello, Folks

I am currently running a Mac mini Intel Core i7 3.0GHz 4th Generation (MGEQ2LL/A BTO-CTO), 16GB Onboard Memory, 256GB Solid State Drive and I am looking to upgrade to a more powerful processor. I’d like to stay with a desktop, Would a Mac mini M1 or M2 16GB give me more power? I am running Waves Superrack Performer V14.
Opinions on my current computer?

Upgrading to the newer processor type you mentioned, would be a significant improvement over a 4th generation one, offering greater processing power.
