Two networks through same ethernet port

Is it posible to run simultaneously a Soundgrid and Dante-network through the same ethernet port of your computer? ofcourse using an ethernetswitch.

We strongly recommend not to do so.

Note that the SoundGrid network should be isolated from other networks, and that includes the SG switch and the computer’s network port.

That is to avoid any audible interruptions coming from other networks.
