I am submitting a feature request for the Waves LV1 Mixer. Currently, the mixer lacks the ‘dim’ function when the talkback button is engaged, and my primary request is to introduce this capability.
The proposed feature would involve implementing the ‘dim’ function to attenuate the level for the Cue bus that feeds the outputs directed to “control room monitors” and headphones when the talkback button is pressed.
The inclusion of this feature would greatly enhance the utility of the LV1 Mixer by mitigating the risk of feedback loops between the talkback microphone and the microphones/monitors on the stage. Users could benefit from the added control of selecting the degree of attenuation for these outputs.
