Strange behavior in W13

After installing w 13 Logic Pro X suddenly finds Berzerk distorsion (which I haven’t bought or installed). It crashes because Berzerk has no license (there is no such plug on the computer!) and I cannot find it in the plug in manager. Very strange behavior. Finale finds it too.
After omitting it in Logic or Finale (albeit not being on the computer) everything works fine. After restart of the computer Berzerk appears again.
Solution?

Hi @Akedah

Welcome to the Waves community forum.

1st you can try to run the Version Organizer inside Waves Central,
Settings > Maintenance> Version Organizer which basically will sort the plugins vs licenses, and will delete any plugins without licenses, or duplications from earlier versions.

Alternatively, plugins can get uninstalled manually from the plugin folder.
Macintosh HD > Applications > Waves > Plug-Ins V13 (or whichever version is installed on your device).

Once done, I suggest to rescan plugins in Logic, by following the instructions at How to Find Your Plugins in Logic article.

Hope the information will help.

Have a lovely day
