Hello Everyone! Im pretty new to the whole SoundGrid/Server/Performer World, I recently purchased a SoundGrid Server One-C X10 & I’m requesting assistance with a SoundGrid connectivity issue that I’ve thoroughly troubleshot and would like some assistance if possible.
System Overview
• Server: Waves SoundGrid Server One-C X10
• Host Application: Waves SuperRack Performer (latest v15)
• Computer: Mac mini with Apple Silicon M4
• OS: macOS 15.3 (Sequoia)
• Network: Originally Via Network Switch, as well as Direct Ethernet connection (Cat5e) from Mac onboard Ethernet to server
• Console: Behringer WING (also tested without console connected)
Issue
The Server One-C X10 Network LED remains blinking red and never joins a SoundGrid domain (never turns green), even when SuperRack Performer is running and the SoundGrid Driver is selected and active.
What I Have Confirmed / Tested
• SoundGrid Driver is installed, repaired, and selectable
• Driver Control Panel allows selection of the correct NIC (en0)
• macOS assigns correct link-local IP (169.254.x.x)
• SuperRack Performer launches correctly and claims the SoundGrid driver
• All Waves components are installed via Waves Central (latest)
• Permissions and security approvals are complete
• Tested with:
• Direct Mac ⇄ Server connection
• Netgear GS108 switch removed from chain
• Reinstalled SoundGrid components and repaired via Waves Central
• Rebooted with correct power-up order
• Server behaves normally when no Ethernet is connected (red LED expected)
Despite all of the above, the server never receives SoundGrid clock/domain lock and remains blinking red.
Question
Is there a known issue or limitation with SoundGrid DSP server domain lock on macOS 15.x (Sequoia), specifically on Apple Silicon M4 systems, even though SuperRack and SoundGrid are listed as compatible?
Additionally:
• Is there any firmware dependency or update required for the Server One-C X10 in this scenario?
• Are there internal builds, beta drivers, or recommended workarounds for macOS 15 + M4 at this time?
