hi, I’m using QRec to connect my laptop and X32 mixer, no SGS, just a direct connection
I have MBA M1 running MainStage and use a lowest network buffer setting (104 smp)
I’m pretty happy with latency, it’s much faster than Dante (104 / 48 = 2.17 ms vs 4 ms with DVS), but channel number “32” near the button “OUT” in QRec goes yellow pretty often and may produce settle clicks, couple times it even went red and produced dropouts
next setting of 288 smp buffer solves the problem but it’s a 288 / 48 = 6 ms which is okay for MainStage, but not for inserts like LP for example
I have a Satechi and TPLink dongles, tried them with SGS & LV1 host application, they worked totally fine, thinking about Apple TB3 → TB2 → Ethernet chain of dongles, maybe Realtek chips inside Satechi and TPLink is a problem
CPU load is low, nothing suspicious, two different OS (Monterey and Sonoma), tried both clock settings (Internal on X32 + Digital on DN32 and Exp.Card on X32 + Internal on DN32)
maybe somebody had this problem, I’d be glad if you share your thoughts!
