Just wanted to confirm on the “future updates” : This means that we do not need to purchase WUP in a year’s time in order to retain use of the plugs when Waves moves up to the next version of the plug-in, or ever again?
Thanks for your answer!

Actually, this is a really interesting quest. You don’t have to with StudioVerse, so it seems that would be the case. It would be nice to get so,e kind of confirmation on this however.

That is correct.

"Yes, updates for the Free Plugin Pack are absolutely free—no extra fees. Updating this bundle will not require the Waves Update Plan.

Once updates will be available for the included plugins, you will be able to update the bundle license for free by going to the Get Latest Version page, selecting the Waves Free Plugin Pack and clicking ‘Get Latest Version’; then installing and activating the updated Free Plugin Pack in the Waves Central app."

This is stated in the product’s FAQ tab.

That was a super awesome move for Waves. Very cool!!. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Hi ! I got the Free plugins pack, got to install it and it shows on my Logic Pro X. The problem is that they show only as DEMO version. I get cuts all the time. How do I activate it in full mode, not demo mode?

Is it maybe a simple matter of not downloading the license(s)??

Open up Waves Central and select your Licences tab along the left side. See if your product licenses are still listed under the “Not Activated” tab. Assuming you need a (free) license to run these.
