Live Instruments with OVOX and FL Studio

Hi there,
I need some help setting up OVOX with FL Studio so I can play instruments using my voice live. I have watched many tutorials but they don’t quite cover what I’m trying to do. I am new to using FL Studio in this way. Could someone please point me in the right direction :slight_smile:

Hey! To use OVOX live in FL Studio for voice-to-MIDI, try this:

  1. Insert OVOX on an audio track (with your mic input).
  2. In OVOX, go to the Synth Mode and enable Pitch to MIDI or “Note Generator.”
  3. Route the MIDI output from OVOX to a separate instrument plugin (like Flex or any synth) using FL’s MIDI routing.
  4. Make sure latency compensation is handled so there’s no delay while performing live.
