L4 just scared the life out of me

I just had the fright of my life.

I had L4 bypassed on a master buss in Pro Tools Ultimate.

Anyway, I just un-bypassed it and the output went full scale noise on my Barefoot MM27s which are connect via AES/EBU to my RME FirefaceUFXII. (in other word…. it was off the scale loud).

I removed it then re-instanciated it.

Hope it doesn’t happen again,

Oh man!! Lucky the MM27s are still okay. But of an odd bug though. Was that a demo version of L4 or was there something else going on??

Nah, not a demo.. got it with Mercury.

Absolutely no idea why it happened.

Man, that really is bizarre.

Sure is mate.. Hasn’t happened again, but wow, it sure freaked me out!!
