I’m glad that Waves has reversed those decisions and embraced the coexistence of subscriptions and perpetual licensing.

Yeah, eliminating the perpetual license was a big misstep, but they realised it and reversed their decision shortly after. It also took bravery to admit they were wrong. Not everyone would have done that.
It should have earned them extra respect, but too many people were seeing red and didn’t want to look past their own anger. Not one of them would be able to tell you they’ve never made mistake before in their life. The hypocrisy is overwhelming.

I disagree. This was most likely a management decision based on numbers.
