Some time ago (2024) I bought Horizon 15. Now when I upgraded my laptop to Mac M4 I am unable to use it (in my DAW: Cubase 14). So I need to upgrade to Horizon 16 in order to use a product that I have already bought. Do you know if there is a way to get an update for a better price, other then paying the hole damn thing again?
Please Contact our Technical Support team, so they can go over your setup and ensure which versions are compatible, prior to updating your Waves update plan to get the latest version.(No need to buy the product again to get the latest version).
They will also be able to guide you through the update process and ensure everything is working as it should.
Yeah that sucks. If it turns out that support can’t set you up with a decent upgrade pricing I can tell you that their Waves Upgrade Plan (WUP) does go on a 25% off sale several times a year. So that is something you can look out for.
The other thing would be Horizon going on sale cheaper than what it would normally cost you to upgrade. Or even the bundle up that would include all of Horizon’s plugins plus extra. It’s always a good idea to keep an eye on sales if you’re planning to upgrade your plugins.
