The D5 manual says:

“RELEASE: Sets how fast the Limiter reduces the processing after the signal falls below the Threshold. This function utilizes adaptive technology, which means that release time adjusts automatically to the Release range value.”

However, the Limiter has no “Release range value.” It doesn’t exist.

Is this a misprint?

The term “Release range value” describes the concept rather than an actual parameter you can adjust in the plugin.

In essence, the adaptive technology automatically adjusts the release time based on the signal, even though you don’t have a specific “Release range value” to set. This means the Limiter dynamically responds to the audio signal, ensuring optimal performance without needing manual adjustments for the release time.
