Curves Resolve question for mix

Hi!
I just bought the Curves Resolve, and i wonder if I should ONLY use Curves Resolve on my channels or combined with other sidechained compressors and/or dynamic eq’s.
If so, where in the chain is it perferred to place the Curves R? After all the other plug-ins or before the dyn eq’s and/or compressors?

You would still need other processing outside Resolve, eq, compression, effects. I’m going, to assume, though, you’re referring to sidechain dynamics type of processing…

I think you could away with just using Resolve for ducking purposes and and that “TrackSpacer” kind of purpose. For that sidechain ducking effect probably start with the Duck button engaged and push the slider all the way to Dynamic and adjust from there. For “track spacing” so the same but with the Duck button disengaged.

Dialling in Steady will help ease off the effect and make it smoother, less extreme. If you hit the Advanced Controls button, you’ll have Attack and Release controls to help shape the ducking effect. Turn down the precision if you want a more static, classic docking kind off effect.
