one thing that often distracts me is, that the metering in LV1 is “calibrated” to -12dBFS (at least at this point it goes from green to yellow/orange).
This is kind of odd, as many plugins use -18dBFS as reference point.
Also, gaining drums this hot makes everything hot.
Yes, I can gain lower, but then also the visual feedback is kind of “wrong”, as the level meter “feels” very low (though it goes to “0dB” on the fader anyways, so there is a extra 10dB range left).
So it would help if we could set the reference point for the meter.
