Hi everyone,
I’ve been working on a workflow where I process my video audio using Waves Audio plugins (mainly for noise reduction, EQ, and light compression), and then import the final audio into capcut mac for editing and export. The issue I’m running into is a noticeable quality drop once the final video is rendered from CapCut,
-
Vocals that sound crisp in Waves feel slightly flattened or compressed
-
Some subtle background cleanup (especially noise reduction) seems less effective
-
Overall loudness and clarity don’t match what I hear before import
I’ve tried a few things like exporting WAV vs MP3, adjusting bitrate, and avoiding normalization inside CapCut, but the result still isn’t consistent with what I get directly out of my Waves processing chain. Is there a recommended export format/settings from Waves for video editors like CapCut?
